Officials are now sure the jet crashed in the southern Indian Ocean. Australia, the country closest to the search zone, has played a major role in the search. In Canberra politicians observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the 239 passengers on board. AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER TONY ABBOTT SAYING: "I move that the house records its deep regret at the tragic loss of life that resulted from the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and expresses its sincere condolences, together will all Australians to the families and loved ones of the six Australians and other passengers and crew that are presumed to have died. Now Madam Speaker based on the accumulation of evidence the Malaysian government has declared that MH370 was lost in the southern Indian Ocean and that all onboard have perished. A considerable amount of debris has been sighted in the area where the flight was last recorded. Bad weather and inaccessibility has so far prevented any of it from being recovered. But we are confident that we will be. Madam Speaker we mourn all those 239 passengers and crew." There have been numerous sightings of debris but none have been confirmed as coming from the missing jet. Until wreckage is found these relatives visiting parliament will find it hard to accept that their loved ones are dead. How to print resumes properly http://infoforu.org/amazingresumes As professionals, we rely on the Internet to search for jobs and on e-mail to apply for them. We create our resumes and cover letters to fit the electronic format, so it is not a surprise that having to print out a resume can result in concerns and mistakes. First, let's discuss when a printed resume is needed. While you are completing numerous job applications online, you still need to have a printed resume to bring on an interview with you. You also must keep in mind that it is very likely your potential employer will print out your resume from a job search web site or from the message you sent expressing your interest in the job. Thus, it is very important that you print out a test copy before submitting your resume to employers to assure the layout is what you want it to be. As a rule, when printing out your resume, make sure to use white or ivory paper. You can get a stack of resume paper at any office supplies store. You will want your resume to appear as clean and professional. Do not use color paper, or change the color of the font in order to make your resume stand out; your employer will find this unprofessional and childish, which is not the first impression you want to make. If your resume is longer than one page, print out multiple pages. Do not print on the front and the back of a single page; rather, include headings in your resume file, indicating page numbers and print each page on its own sheet of paper. You should not have any handwriting on your resume; make sure that page numbers are in fact printed along with the rest of the resume content. Make sure that you let your resume sit on the printer for a few moments before picking it up. This will help you avoid smudging the ink of the paper, especially if you are using an Ink Jet printer. You want to assure that the resume doesn't have any smudging, stains, or crumpling when you are handing it to your potential employer. First impressions are important -- you do not want yours to be that of someone who is sloppy and careless. When going in for an interview, you should bring multiple copies of your resume with you. Some people think this is not necessary because your potential employer already has your resume. This is a common misconception. You should always have several copies of your resume printed out and with you when at an interview. Often times, the hiring manager may ask another associate to meet you during the interviewing process, and he/she may not have a copy of your resume. Having extras makes you look professional, prepared and organized, which helps you set your best foot forward. Additionally, it is helpful that the copy of the resume you bring in for an interview has a complete list of references. You can include the references directly on your resume (typically at the bottom of the page), or you can include a separate sheet of paper with the list. The first option is preferred, because it provides the employer with all of the critical information about you in one place. Including your references preempts the employer from asking you for this information; it also shows that you are seriously interested in the available position. Having a well-formatted, clean and professional resume will only help you make a great first impression, and help you get the job you are truly interested in.

Japan is already home to some of the fastest trains in the world with a fleet of bullet trains crisscrossing the country at incredibly high speeds. However, the current crop of bullet trains isn't fast enough for Japan and Central Japan Railway has resume trials of its incredibly high-speed maglev train. The train is expected to begin operating commercially by 2027. Testing resumed on the Yamanashi maglev Test Line covering a distance of 42.8 km. The train is able to run at speeds of up to 500 kph using the Lo train car prototype. The train company plans to begin working on the maglev line by April of 2014 and the project will cost around $52 billion. Once the line is complete, the Japanese public will be able to travel from Tokyo to Nagoya in only 40 min. currently that same trip, covering 286 km, takes 95 min. One reason the new maglev line will cost so much money is because the train company will have to tunnel under the massive skyscrapers in downtown Tokyo. The company will also have to tunnel under the Japanese Alps. During the project the railway company will also be assessing the environmental impact of the trains and looking for ways to reduce maintenance costs. Nine additional high-speed train cars will be constructed by 2015 allowing test trains to include 12 cars with a total length of 299 m.

The European Union has resumed aid to Mali which it suspended in June due to suspected irregularities in government spending, including the purchase of a $40 million presidential jet. The IMF halted its support for the West African country. The IMF said this month, however, Malian authorities had complied with a requirement to make public the results of audits into the suspected irregularities. The IMF predicts Mali's economy should expand 5.8 percent this year and 5.5 percent in 2015, provided Ebola does not spread. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/Reuters/worldNews/~3/URIlWFQX184/story01.htm http://www.wochit.com

Philippines Resumes Acquisition of 6 New L-39 Close Air Support Aircraft Elbit Systems offer L-39 Close Air Support version, Elbit Systems experienced in upgrade L-39 of RTAF. This CAS features a wide range of practice and live ordnance that interfaces with the fully computerized weapon and navigation systems, including smart weapons The Department of National Defense again opened the PhP 4.9-billion Close Air Support (CAS) Aircraft acquisition project which aims to acquire six close air support aircraft for the Philippine Air Force. This project was initiated a number of times earlier this year and in the previous years but did not come into fruition for several reasons. This time, the defense department scheduled the pre-bid conference on January 11, 2017, followed by deadline of submission of bids and opening of bids on January 27 at DND Building, in Camp Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City. Among the possible offerings are T-6 Texan II from Beechcraft, Super Tucano from Embraer, L-39 from Elbit Systems, and KT-1 Woongbi from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). It is perceived that Brazilian aerospace conglomerate Embraer’s Super Tucano is the strongest contender among the mentioned expected bidders. The six close air support aircraft to be acquired will replacing/complement the Air Force’s Rockwell OV-10 “Bronco” turboprop attack planes.

Ships and planes have resumed searching for a passenger jet that went missing more than 24 hours ago on a flight from Indonesia to Singapore. First Admiral Sigit Setiayana, the Naval Aviation Center Commander at the Surabaya air force base, said Monday that 12 navy ships, five planes, three helicopters and a number of warships were searching an area of east and southeast Belitung island and nearby waters. Setiaya says visibility was good. "God willing, we can find it soon," Setiayana told The Associated Press. http://hosted2.ap.org/APDEFAULT/3d281c11a96b4ad082fe88aa0db04305/Article_2014-12-28-AS--Indonesia-Plane/id-f276c531de64421683058b9aa7c35a2d http://www.wochit.com

This is raw stock footage of two L-39 Aero VodochodyAlbatros” jets (N139CK and N139PK) in flight, flyby, cockpit, low pass, takeoff, and aerobatic clips. N139PK (the blue camouflaged L-39) crashed and was destroyed in 2012. This video (with no audio originally) was given to me in 2012 by a pilot, David Riggs, to supplement my personal L-39 flight video due to the chase plane photographer incorrectly setting up his video camera leaving me no exterior footage of my flight on the brown & green camouflaged L-39 which is seen in this video (Registration N139CK). I've never used any of this footage and decided to post this unedited for the enjoyment of the viewer. -------------- Pilot David Riggs had a checkered past with the FAA having continually violated aviation rules. He and another pilot, both in L-39 jets, buzzed Santa Monica Pier, California in 2008. Riggs also continued to take passengers on L-39 flights after being directed not to by the FAA. On May 18th, 2012, Riggs was flying passengers in violation of the FAA restriction when his wingman crashed in his L-39 (Registration N39WT) killing that pilot and the passenger at Boulder City, Nevada. Link to NTSB Investigation findings: http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?do=main.textpost&id=bc18c752-d0cd-4d62-8960-9edbd628b872 Shortly thereafter, Riggs lost his U.S. pilot's license. Later, he was stunt flying overseas in CHINA when he crashed into Caihu Lake killing himself and his passenger in 2013. Note: The blue camouflaged L-39 (N139PK) in this video is the SAME L-39 Albatros (changed to N39WT) that crashed in 2012.
